Blade-Shield Usage - When Yae uses her blade-shield, she normally can't
move. However, if you have the armor or shield and receive damage from an
enemy when using the blade-shield, you can move.
Unchangeable Hair Color - In the middle of using Goemon's touch-and-go
skills, get killed by an enemy (if you have more than one life). If you do
this, you will come to life again with golden hair. However, if you want
to change the character, you can't change the hair color.

v. 1.0 - Initial Release
2) Characters/Weapons/Magic Powers - Note : If a weapon has a "*" beside
it, it can be upgraded to level 2 and level 3.
Goemon - The hero of the game, Goemon's only character flaw is his
tendency to lose his temper and get into fights. On the request of the
King of Oedo Town, he sets off to find out who and what is behind the
mysterious organization threatening to take over Japan. Where Found - You
start out him
Weapons - *Pip:- Goemon starts out with the Pipe. It's great for up-close
combat.
Chain Pipe:- You get this from the Pipe Maker on Mt. Fuji. Like the
Hookshot from Zelda, it can hook on the Star Boxes (Well, that is somewhat
like Zelda). Best use for defeating baddies from a little distance.
Ryo:- You can throw Ryo to attack. The ideal weapon for
long-distance fighting. Of course, each time you throw it, it will cost 1
Ryo.
Flaming Ryo:- Once you have donated 5 Ryo to the chest at Kompira Mt.,
you shall receive the Medal of Flames. Instead of just throwing some Ryo,
charge it up. You will throw a Ryo surrounded by flames. It costs 3 Ryo to
do this attack. The Flaming Ryo does x2 the amount of damage as a
regular Ryo.
Magic Power - Sudden Impact:- With the need of 10 Ryo, it allows you to
increase your power. Besides it turning Goemon's blue hair to gold, his
attack power doubles, but beware you absorb x2 the amount of damage from
an enemy.
Ebisumaru - A self-styled "Ninja of Justice" who does things his own way
and in his own good time. Settling down in Edo, he now lives with Goemon.
Where Found - You start out with him
Weapons - *Saw-Hammer:- Ebisumaru starts out with this wooden hammer.
Meat Saw-Hammer:- One of the best weapons in the entire game! You can
find this weapon in Festival Temple Castle. Just about every time you
defeat a baddie, you can usually get a heart-restoring Dumpling.
Windup Camera:- You can find this strange camera in Ghost Toys Castle
from the Crane Game. When it is used, it will reveal hidden paths, items,
and it makes the ghosts solid so they can be killed.
Magic Power - Mini- Ebisu:- This power shrinks Ebisumaru, allowing him to
go through small doors and such. You cannot attack while in small form.
Sasuke - A mechanical ninja created by an Iga Wiseman. A tough cookie
with a trusting soul, Sasuke loves hot baths and Japanese green tea. I
think, overall, he is the best fighter. =). Where Found - Zazen Town,
from Benkei
Batteries - #1:
Where - Inaba Dune
How to get it - Go to the lake, the battery will be in the center of it #2
:
Where - The Lake With The Large Tree (I think that is what it's called)
How to get it - Use the Windup Camera in the tree, then the battery
will appear on top of it.
Weapons - *Kunai:- Sasuke starts out with the Kunai blade.
Fire Cracker Bomb:- The mechanical ninja starts out with this bomb. Using
this bomb on cracked doors, they will open up.
Hair Attack:- No, it's not a weapon. From the start, Sasuke can do this
attack by holding down B, then pressing Z. Good for attacking enemies that
are above you . Also, if you are lying down on the ground and do this,
you will attack forward.
Kunai of Severe Cold:- One nifty weapon. Found in Festival Temple Castle.
It freezes enemies and some hot floors. But the effect is only temporary.
Great for long distance attacks. Every time you use this weapon, it costs
1 Ryo. If you charge it up, it will fire the Kunai Intense Hail Beam which
fires 3 shots of the freezing sword. That costs 3 Ryo.
Magic Power - Super Jump:- Using the Super Jump allows Sasuke to get to
high places you could not access by jumping regularly. It's good for
dodging incoming attacks, too.
Yae - A secret ninja agent who investigates the toughest cases of all,
Yae is like an older sister to Goemon and co. Where Found - Zazen Town
Weapons - *Katana:- Yae starts out with this Japanese blade. Once
upgraded to Level 2, she can "create" a shield from the sword by holding
down B.
Koryuta's Flute:- You get this special flute from Koryuta, once you have
destroyed the Mind-Control Robot when he was in dragon form. This flute
allows to you visit just about anywhere you've been. You can use it in
some buildings, wonder why it said you can't. I used in the Yamato Shrine
and one cave and it still worked.
Yae Bazooka:- You get this bazooka from Gourmet Submarine Castle.
Probably the best long distance attacking weapon. When fired, it uses 1
Ryo. Charge it up, it will do a "lock-on" attack. When that is fired, any
enemy in a target will usually be hit. That costs 3 Ryo.
Magic Power - Mermaid:- While on top of the water, using this will turn
Yae into a mermaid. You are now able to swim under the water to reach
items like a Fortune Doll and other things.
Goemon Impact - A gigantic robot who is an invaluable ally to Goemon and
his pals. Already a successful dancer, Impact has now set his heart on
becoming a movie star. Where Found - Call him with the Triton Shell from
Wise Man's House.
Moves & Controls -
A : Quick Punch, fast but weak attack.
B : Fierce Punch, slow but strong attack.
Z : Fires Nasal Bullets, cost 1 Ryo for each time fired.
R : Uses Chain Pipe, drag in the boss and whack him!
Guard : C- Left, C-Left or C-Right, C-Right, puts Impact in defense mode,
you still can be damaged but not as much.
Laser Mouth : C-Buttons clockwise, Z or C-Buttons counter-clockwise,
Z. You can attack only when the gauge is flashing. Best attack, but
it's the hardest to perform at times. =(One-Two Punch : B, B, A, Super
Punch : C-Up, C-Down, C-Up, A. This is one super move! Impact punches VERY
rapidly.
Punch-Kick : B, B, B, A
Super Punch & Kick : Super Punch, A
Spring Kick : C-Down, C-Down, A
Super Pipe Combo : B, A, R, R, A
Damage - Here I'll tell you what moves do how much damage. The amount of
points is about as accurate as I could tell when I was playing. So, they
could be a little off.
Spring Kick : 100 points
Quick Punch : 30 points
Fierce Punch : 80 points
Chain Pipe : 20 points
Laser Mouth : 400 points
One-Two Punch : 140 points

some reason...

4) Bosses/Impact Bosses - Here, I'll tell you about the bosses and how
to beat them. Here is a neat trick for the Impact Bosses, when you fire
the Laser Beam, you won't be harmed. Not any kind of attack will harm you!
Boss #1- Congo : The King Robot - The easy way to beat the giant head is
stand under his chin. Keep attacking the front because that is the only
spot he is vulnerable. When there is an explosion, chunks of his head will
be destroyed. Be careful though, when the explosive comes, he fire a beam
that I call "Glitter
Beam". If you stand in front when he explodes, chances are you will
get hit by the beam.
Impact Boss #1- Kashiwagi : The Wartime Kabuki Robot - Here is when you
need to know the manouvers for Impact. I hook him with the Chain Pipe and
punch him when I drag him in, a lot. Don't do the same moves over and over
because he will predict what you will do and block it. Here is my little
combo I do that does about 520 points of damage : Drag him in with the
Chain Pipe, knock him on the ground, then while he is on the ground, fire
the Impact Laser. It will still hit him even though he is on the ground.
His special attack is making a copy of himself. The copy will attack you,
but the real one won't. Here is another cool combo that does about 770
points. Drag him in, and do the Super Punch + Kick on him. Then when he is
on the ground, fire the laser beam on him.
Boss #2- Mind-Control Robot - Not really a boss, but it kinda is. You
can only attack him when he isn't spinning. When he isn't attack him with
Ryo. I'd rather use Ryo because I might fall off the dragon. I found a
strange glitch here. When I was hit by him, Goemon appear the whole way to
the right off the dragon. So then I had to go back to the robot. When this
guy spins, he fires those metal balls at you at a decent, medium speed.
Boss #3- Dharmanyo : The Surrender Robot - That name doesn't fit this
easy robot. He should be the one
surrendering. Anyway, use the Windup Camera to reveal his weak point. Then
when he is "clear", fire the Medal of Flames at the spot. Keep repeating
until he is dead. He will fire bombs at you, but keep on running at full
speed to avoid them.
Boss #4- Tsurami : The Ghost Robot - One of more harder bosses. Just
keep hitting him with the so-called "red plates". He has 3 attack methods,
here they are :
#1 : Easy. Throws plates at a medium rate.
#2 : He throws plates at a much faster rate.
#3 : HARD!!! He throws plates in all directions, but when they hit
the ground they explode. You need to hit 4 times in each form of attack.
Impact Boss #2 - Thaisamba 2 : The Charming Mermaid - Now this battle
takes place on the water. Not that much different from the another boss.
The special attack is a "tornado" of water. You view from the cockpit is
blurry. She will hit you with those exploding balls again. Then she will
pop up and hit you with her eyeball (at least, that's what it looks like).
Once the mermaid has her energy level close to 1,000 the battle will go
underwater. Then she will charge at full speed at you, just do a fierce
punch on her and it will knock her on the oceanfloor. =) Then she has a
"fake" attack. She will charge you from one direction, but at the last
second she will move into another direction. Then she will attack you. The
good thing for this boss is that she can't block your attacks, so you can
do the same moves over and over.
Impact Boss #3 - Balberra : The Great Peach Mountain Battleship - The
only boss you can't drag in and punch. Destroy the guns, leaves and all of
the little things on the ship. The Peach Fighters will try to shoot you,
but you know how to take "care" of them. When the battleship opens, it
reveals its "core". Shoot that core to damage it. It only opens when you
destroy the Peach Fighters. Every hit with a Nasal Bullet does 5 points
damage. A hit from the Chain Pipe will do 20 points damage.
Impact Boss #4 - D 'Etoile : The Fairy of Love and Dreams - The hardest
Impact Boss in the game! One of his best attacks is what I call the Roller
Attack. If you get hit, it does about 50 points damage. This attack is
almost unavoidable! But there is one way to avoid with ease. Use fierce
punch before he hits you. Don't do this too early or too late because it
won't work. He spins around and fires those explosive balls at you. Then
he has his asteroid attack. Easy to avoid. Use the fierce punch on each
asteroid to blow it up. If you use quick punch, you won't be able to
destroy it in time. When he fires the explosive balls at you he fires them
at two speeds. #1 : He shoots them one at a time. #2 : This one he spins
to one side. While going to the other side, there will be a bunch of balls
coming at you. Shoot them with the bullets instead of punching.

Location of the Cats
Section One City 1.
You start the game here as Goemon in his home. Your first order of
business is to exit his house and make your way outside of the city to the
near by Mt. Fuji. How to get there - Exit his house and turn left, follow
the path to the end and take the door to your left. Proceed all the way to
the end past the doors on your right until you can see a large "Bell". At
the Bell turn right and proceed to the doors. Follow this path to the next
set of doors which leads outside the city. You will find yourself outside
with enemies to fight. First thing you should do is activate your on
screen map. On this map you are represented as a large red dot with a
small yellow dot (which represents the direction you are facing). Yellow
dots represent houses while yellow lines represent doors. Make your way to
the top door on the map. NOTE: After you cross the first bridge if you
take the second bridge to your right you will find a cat. After the doors
you will find yourself in front of what is suppose to be a mountain. Make
your way to the top by taking the ladder directly in front of you. NOTE:
If you pass the second ladder and jump over to the next platform you will
find a cat. Inside the mountain you will find "Slinky" style enemies.
These guys can't be destroyed so avoid them. To pass them without getting
hit, follow them up the stairs, and as they begin to come back move to the
corner (against the wall) and allow them to pass. You will not be hit,
then you will be able to move on. Once you go outside - around then back
into the mountain - Make your way to the house and talk to the man inside.
When you are given a choice select option 2 for a new chain weapon. Once
you have the new weapon make your way back to the city. NOTE: Goemon and
his friends will not take damage if you jump from high places. Feel free
to jump off the nearest ledge. The other doors around the house hold
money or health. Once back in the city retrace your steps to the set of
doors you passed on the way to the "Bell". Find them and enter. Follow the
path to the next set of doors. Here you will find small boxes which if hit
with your new weapon will drag you to them. Use your new weapon to hit the
boxes across the water. NOTE: Cross the water on the left side first for a
cat. Make your way along the side of the building to the next set of
doors. Follow the path to the next set of doors. Follow the path to the
entrance for Boss 1's palace. Boss 1's Palace. In the first room take the
time to walk around and collect all the money before entering the next
room. In the next room the door on your right needs a key. You can find
the key around the corner, use your chain weapon to cross the gap. In the
next room take the first door to your right. Here you must defeat all
the enemies to get the key - when you have it exit to the next room. NOTE:
In this room take the time to get the map and the cat before you move to
the next door. Take out the 2 enemies then walk into the center of the
room with the green floor. Have your old weapon and wait for the tiles to
fly at you - When they do press B three times to destroy the tile as well
as any from other directions. You only need to destroy 3 for the key,
however there are 20+. In the next room take the door to your right beat
the enemies in the next room and proceed to the next door. Inside defeat
all the enemies to get the key. Once you have the key exit to the next
room, then exit to the room after that. Walk forward and use your chain
weapon to move over the gap. NOTE: In the room past the locked door
you will find money and full health. Here simply cross the room to the
lift in the corner. In this room you will find enemies that are round -
Jump over them and move up the path to the next door. In the next room
watch out for the impressions in the floor (And what made them!). Wait for
the press to come down then ride it up, you will see the next key on the
middle press. NOTE: Visit the other room before you move on to get a cat.
Next you will find yourself in a water stage. Make your way around to the
first door and enter it. In the next room use the chain weapon to move
over the water to the next door. NOTE: You will find a large hand that
blocks a passage - Come back any time after Boss 1 is defeated to get a
large amount of money and a cat. In the next room get the key in the
corner (defeating all the enemies is not required). Return to the water
stage - "2 rooms over" - then to the locked door. After the locked
door the next two rooms are easy, just make your way to the next. Here you
will find a room in which you have to jump your way across to the next
door. Next room run over to the lift. You will now have a short intro to a
very strange dude! Listen to the guy then follow him when he runs away.
NOTE: Get the cat and health if needed before going any further for Boss 1
is next. Enter when ready Boss 1. Boss one is a large head. As soon as the
fight starts run right up to him and stand directly under the red dot.
Make sure to have your chain weapon selected and hit him as fast as you
can. You will hear a explosion sound when you hit him enough times, when
you do run a way and stand in one spot. When the yellow energy beams come
around jump up in one place to avoid them, repeat this 6 times to defeat
the boss. Once he is defeated get the moon piece then head for the door.
When you are talking with the Emperor select option 1 - You will get
a pass to leave the city. Save your game then you will return to the start
of the level. NOTE: Enter the palace - room one for the money it has.
Back track to the door - through to the next door - You should find
yourself back in the city with water all around. Instead of going all the
way around jump right into the water and take the tunnel in front of you.
When you come out the other side take the next tunnel in front of you.
Swim forward and around the corner. NOTE: Get the cat on the way by. Swim
to the end and jump up to the bridge, talk to the two guards then leave
the city. Once outside cross the bridge and travel right - then make your
way to the door. Travel through the cave to the next door. Cross the field
and clime the hill. Once on top of the hill follow the path until the demo
takes over.
Robot 1.
Ah.......these robots are not hard, they just take some time to get use to
the patters. Best way to beat all the robots is to use the basic combo
over and over again. You can all the moves here. NOTE: When the robot
fights you, you don't have the option to pause in any way. Once you have
finished the robot off proceed to the next town. END OF LEVEL 1.
Section Two City 2.
As soon as you enter this city you are
greeted by Yae which will join your team for now on. First thing you must
do is visit the guard in the next room. Goto the next door on your left,
Inside you will see a guard blocking a door. Go upto him and he will start
to talk. You will be given a choice - Doesn't matter which you choose.
After he is finished find the ladder to the right of the bridge going down
(Right hand side while facing the guard). Follow it down then travel left
though the passage. In the next section go up the ramp and talk to the
lady (Fisher). When you talk to her she will give you a choice, select
option two - Next pick option one - Then option one again. She will
instruct you to find 3 blue fish and return to her. Go and run over 3 blue
fish then talk to her again. Then go and find 5 yellow fish and return to
her. Then find 8 pink fish and talk to her. Once you are finished this she
will give you a log to use against the guard. To beat the guard throw the
log at him and hit him 3 times within the time limit you have. After this
proceed past him. Run down the hill and past the temple. You will find two
paths to take, the first will lead to the water front the other is
optional. Optional. This section is optional and in no way effects the
game. Follow the second path into the forest. This path has no enemies so
make sure you are on the right path. Follow the path until you come to a
stone with 4 ways you can push it. As you walk up the ramp: Push the stone
forward to have coins fall from the sky - Push the stone left to get a cat
- Push the stone down to get transported to a small island with a second
transporter, walk through to get transported onto a boat. Jump off the
boat and swim around to the ramp onto the rock - cross the small bridge -
then travel up to the top of the rock. Collect the cat and walk through
the transporter. You will find yourself back on the small island this time
hop into the water and swim to shore and walk up to the road. Follow
the path left through the forest and back where you started. Go back to
the stone area again and push the rock right. Once you push the rock right
it will transport you into the locked temple you seen just before the two
paths. Make your way to the top of the temple for a 1-up and walk off the
ledge to land on a
platform for a cat.
Path 1.
Take path one through the forest to the water front. As soon as you clear
the forest you will see a house to your left on a hill. Walk up the small
hill around to the side of the house for a 1-up. Proceed over the stone
bridge to the house in the background. NOTE: On the way over the stone
bridge to the left of you, you will find a cat located on a small ledge
just below - Walk off at the right part to get the cat, then swim you way
back to the house. This is a transporter house that will take you to the
next city. However before you can get to the next city you must first
fight the dragon that takes you. When the operator of the transporter ask,
select option one.
The Dragon.
To stay on the dragon walk directly in the middle. Once you get to the
boss on the dragon its best to use Goemon with his chain weapon to hit the
boss from a distance. Once you hit the boss he will begin to spin, when
spinning you can't hit him so back away a few steps making sure you stay
directly in the middle of the dragon - then and wait....Repeat this 5 or 6
times. When its over you will land along with a boy. The boy will give you
a flute in which Yae can play almost anywhere to ride the dragon to any
already visited location. Where to next: You find yourself in the middle
of a city and a temple. First thing to do is travel up the hill to the
very top. Once at the top make sure you are Goemon and walk forward up the
ramp to a wooden box. Switch weapons to the coin and fire 5 times into the
box. You will receive his fire coin for doing this. To use it have the
coin weapon selected then hold the B button down until the picture of the
coin becomes solid. Once you have the new weapon travel back down the
hill to the city below.
City 3.
Once you enter the city walk around the corner and through the doors. In
the next room take the door directly to your right. Here you should see a
door directly in front of you, run over then though it. Once outside
follow the path over the bridge, up the hill, and to the doors. Next you
will see a old bridge with parts that give way. Cross it by jumping over
the bad parts. NOTE: Fall through the bridge about the 3rd or 4th section
to land on a small rock in the middle of the river to get a cat. In this
section follow the path around - You will see a house on the top and a
door. The door will tell you that the "Spa" isn't open. Notice the smaller
door to the left - Because this door won't open you now have what you need
to return to City 2. NOTE: Visit the house in this stage so you can get a
marker for the dragon to return here. Switch to Yae if you are not already
then switch her weapon to the flute. Play the flute and select City 2 from
the map.
Return to City 2.
Once you are back in City 2 follow your tracks and go back to the fisher.
Once you get to the fisher she will be small. After you talk to her she
will run off - Follow her around the corner down to the small waterfall.
Go up the ladder and through the door. Goto the second door on your right
and you will find the fisher standing in front of a door. Switch to
Ebisumaru and talk to her. You will enter a game - Object is to get 8 of
those pink/white things before you die. NOTE: If you go onto the wooden
platform where the stores are you will find a passage that leads from one
section to the next. In this passage you will find a small pond and
watering tool. Hit the water tool a few times to get a cat. Also remember
this place for you will have to return later on. Return to the closed
door. We just took the dragon from the closed door in the hills to City 2.
Now its time to return. If you visited the house up on the same hill you
can use the dragon to go directly there - However if you didn't you will
have to take the dragon as close as you can and walk the rest of the way.
Once in front of the door switch to Ebisumaru then press UP C Button to
activate his special move. He will become small and you can proceed
through the smaller door to the left. Once on the other side press UP C
again to turn back to normal. NOTE: If you walk around to the spa and hold
Z button for a few seconds you will regain any lost power. Here you will
encounter a red gate, use your special to walk under it. NOTE: To your
right is a cat. Next thing is to walk over what you could call "speed
bumps" around the corner and up the ladder OR you could walk over
the first bump, then use the second to jump up and grab onto the wooden
floor above. Its faster and easier. Once you are up make your way around
the corner and to the door. Read the sign in front of the door to save
your game before going in.
Boss 2's Palace.
Before you go in have Goemon selected with his coin weapon ready. Once you
enter you will see two ghost come after you - At this moment you can't
defeat them so don't bother trying. Hold B until your flame coin is ready
then fire a shot at each of the fire statues in the corner. Once you do
the door will open for you. The next room has nothing of value for you
right now however you will have to come back so make a note of this place
for later on. Next room, make your way across the spikes to the next door.
Here you will see water with a bunch of enemies. NOTE: On top of the large
head is a cat, be sure to get it before you move on. Once you are ready
move on to the next door. In the next room make your way to the middle to
get the map then off to the next door. The next room is filled with odd
enemies, defeat them all for the key to the next door. NOTE: Pick up the
seed and take it over to the lift then drop it in the middle of the sand
patch. By doing so a flower will grow and give you money and health. In
the next room go to the door to your left first. Here you will see two
pots and a lift. Its dark in this room but you have a full floor to run
around on. Take the lift down and make your way around the next room to
the lift that takes you back up. This room should look like the first -
exit this room and jump on the power switch. NOTE: Get the cat and key
while you are there. Now back track everything you just did to the second
room of this stage that had no value....Now that we have power, the stage
has a lot of value. Now that you made it back go over to the controls - As
soon as you do the game will show you your prize. All you have to do is
get it! Best way to do this is look at the floor boards in relation to the
camera and conveyer belt. If you notice the camera sites right in a
single floor board which runs over to the conveyer belt which also has the
same lines! Start by standing on the left button until the shadow of the
arm is over the right floor board. Walk off that button then onto the
right one until the arm is over the camera - If done right you will get
the camera on your first try. NOTE: The Camera is used by Ebisumaru to
make the ghost visible 100% after which they can die...again! Now that you
have the camera you must go back to the stage just before the lift. NOTE:
Now that you are back in the room with the locked door be sure to get the
golden cat before you continue. In the next room use the camera the same
way you used Goemon's fire coin to make the ghost visible - switch weapons
and defeat them all. In the next room take the first door on your
left. Enter and defeat all the ghost to get the key - exit - then make
your way to the locked door. Make your way up the stairs and to the lift
then through the unlocked door. Jump across to get the key - the water
here on in is now dangerous and will reduce your power. Get the key and
return to the locked door. In the next room you need to reach the unlocked
door then defeat everyone inside to get the next key. Once you have the
key exit the room back into the main and go for the first locked door
which is also on the same side of the room as you are. Once you open the
first locked door you should see a bunch of ropes moving around with a
door right in front of you - This door has health and money inside. The
other door is at the other end. Inside the best thing to do is hold down
the Z button so Ebisumaru will get down. Take a picture then defeat
the ghost. In this room parts of the floor are missing and water is there
instead. Be sure to get the key and the 1-Up here. Once you have the key
make your way for the second locked door. NOTE: Get the cat before you go
for the second door. Inside this room you will find a bunch of red enemies
- By pass them and go for the first door on the left. Anyone for Pool?
Object - Pocket each of the 8 balls one by one in order to get the key to
the door within the room. Inside the other room go for the key then exit
to the main room. This is the last room, cross it and hop on the lift to
fight the boss.
Boss 2.
This boss is simple, start out by having Ebisumaru with his camera ready.
Take a picture of the boss so he becomes transparent. Each time he becomes
transparent hit his heart. Best guy to use is Goemon with his fire coin.
Beat the boss - Get the next piece - Watch a little demo - Save your game
- Then you will find yourself outside. Back to City 2. END OF LEVEL 2.
Section Three City 2.
Once again we have returned to City 2 for more fun. Once you enter the
city go into the main part of town and through the passage to the second
part of the city. You are heading to the door in which a kid will be
waiting in front of. No need to talk to the kid unless you want to. Head
through the door into a new level. Once you find this level follow the
path to the end. You will see on the way one locked door and 2 sealed
doors. These can't be opened right now. Use your on screen map - We are
heading for the top door. After the door you will see a large hill with
two ways to go left or right. In this case you wish to go all the way
right to the next door. This door will take you to a desert stage. Use
your on screen map to show you the way to the small pond. Once there get
the "can" like object and the cat then exit. Once you exit you will see a
hill in front of you. Go up the hill and into the house on the top. Inside
you will see a large tree, make your way to the very top of the tree and
take a picture with Ebisumaru. When you do this you will get a second
"can" object which will give you a new member to your party. Once Saukra
has joined leave this stage and head back down the hill only this time
head right to the 3rd door you have yet to visit. In the next screen you
will find yourself in a town setting - You are located in the top right
hand corner of your on screen map. From here you wish to move to the top
left door. If you went for the right door you should see a valley. On the
map you are located at the very bottom. You want to head for the dot at
the top however to access that point you first have to head off to
the left then around the hills. Don't worry about the door located on the
left hand side of the on screen map. Once inside you will find yourself in
a cave - At the other end of the cave you will find yourself a stone door.
Switch to Saukra and use his bomb weapon to destroy the door. After this
is done read the sign to save. Enter when ready!
Boss 3's Palace.
As soon as you enter you want to go to the left then into the under part
of the temple. Follow it along to a door. Next run and exit through the
gate and to your left. If you decide to turn left before you exit the gate
you will go around and find a health power up. Head for the door by
avoiding rolling barrels. Next hope in the water and follow it around.
NOTE: Use the wooden platforms to get the map for this level. Next you
will find 2 ways to go - However one is locked so you have no choice but
to take the left hand door. NOTE: Remember this room for you will have to
return here later. Use the ladder to the right to get the cat above. In
the next screen head to your left and look for the door. Here you will
find a few enemies however just go for the door and play with the white
tanks on the way out! Next you will find what looks like "steps" however
if you stand on the highest step to long it will begin to sink while the
lowest step gets higher. Head for the door on the right by climbing the
first set of steps in front of you then turn right......and move fast.
Only one way to go, left! Here you will find moving platforms - The object
is to reach the door in the middle not the other side! NOTE: Take the
ladder up and follow it for a cat. Inside you will find the key. Get the
key and back track all the way to the locked door. After the locked door
you will find a level with tanks. Turn right and take the ladder up.
Follow the path around to find a 1-Up. At the same time you can take a
view of the current stage, once you have the one up follow the rest of the
path then jump down were you started. Walk forward turn the corner and
take the LAST door at the very end. Inside you will find Saukra's new ice
weapon. Leave this room - go outside - and back around the corner - go in
the FIRST door around the corner. Inside you should see large barrels
coming at you, make your way to the next door. Now you have a choice
of doors. NOTE: "Bounce" your way to the first door on your right and get
some money and a power up. "Bounce" your way to the other side and take
the door on the right - pass the next room. You should find yourself in a
room with red glowing platforms. Switch to Saukra and use his new ice
weapon to cool down the blocks (Limited time!). Move around and get
Ebisumaru's new hammer. Once you have the hammer get back up to the door
you came in - But this time take the door at the other end. This will lead
you outside - Jump in the water and swim to the door which takes you
outside. Its now time to back track and go all the way back to the very
start of this level. Once back at the start go up the front stairs and to
the right, be careful not to get hit or its lights out! Once inside use
Saukra to freeze the blocks and jump over. From here on in make your way
to the top to find a gold key. Once you have the key walk off the side
and fall to the floor below. NOTE: One door will take you back, while the
other door will take you outside where you will find a gold cat! Next make
your way outside and back (Yes back) around to the place where you needed
the first key (The place we made a note of). Take the door on the left.
Once inside make your way around to the next door. NOTE: The ladder before
the door doesn't lead anywhere. Next you will see a large water fall - Hop
on the wooden platform and jump over. Next take the time to jump on the
moving "fish flag" and ride it around until it stops - Jump off and clime
the ladder to the next level where you will jump onto a second "Flag".
While on the second flag don't jump off to any platform on the outside,
instead walk inward and jump onto the center pole - Now walk around
and jump onto the next flag. Once you are on the last flag don't jump off
until it comes to a complete stop. Take the ladder up and go through the
door. The next screen is simple and easy - Just head for the door and get
ready for Boss 3! Boss 3 is very easy - She will throw blue disk shaped
objects at you in which you can stand in one place and hit them - When she
fires red ones hit them and they will reflect back and hit her. Do this a
number of times and she will start to throw a lot more before the
red's....In this case simply run in one direction until the red's are
thrown then hit them back. After view a demo, get a piece of the puzzle,
save and exit.
The Missing Island.
Once you finish with Boss 3 you will continue on in the cave. Leave the
cave and head for the left door on the on screen map. Follow the path down
and around to the bridge - Watch the cool demo! Once the Island is gone
your next step is to transport back to City 1. Or you may take a few mins
to get the 4 extra cats in this area.
Extra Cats NOTE: Return to the start of this level - This can be done
back walking back, or by using the dragon to fly to the nearest location.
From the start of this level follow the path along and you will see two
doors with stone blockers. Destroy the stone using Yae's bomb weapon to
get a single white cat and a gold cat from the other. Continue on to the
end were you have two choices left or right. This time pick the left door
which will take you to a lake with a large bridge. Cross the bridge a few
steps and jump off the right side. When you land in the water go up the
ramp and along the wall. When you come to the part were the path
is blocked use Ebisumaru shrink and continue walking until you get the
cat. Once you have this cat jump off the side and swim past the bridge
toward what looks like a huge transporter. Hope onto the wooden platform
and ride it up to the top. Walk along the top and get the second cat.
Back to City 1. END OF LEVEL 3.
Section Four Return to City 1.
Use the dragon to transport to City 1. Be sure to use Goemon. Once you
enter the city go forward through the doors. After, go forward turn right
- Make your way to the end of the path then through the door. You should
find yourself back exactly were you started. Move forward and you will see
a row of houses on each side of you - Enter the second door on your right.
Talk to the guy in this house and get ready to pass a test. Rules are
simple...... When you complete the test walk back to the start of this
city and leave via the doors. Once you're outside of the city cross the
bridge and turn left. Move to the end and go up the ramp to the metal
block. As Goemon use his special "UP C Button" then push the block until
you can pass freely. NOTE: Before you move on get the cat just to the
side of the metal block.
Cave 2.
Work your way over to the next door. In the next room walk over to your
right then up the ladder. Make your way over to the ledge in the corner
and around to hit the red button. Once the button is hit you should see a
set of wood platforms show up which leads to the next door. NOTE: Instead
of going for the door jump down and get the cat. Once you go for the cat
you are forced to walk around and repeat the steps above. In the next
stage you should find yourself outside in a winter setting. At this point
in time walk/run to the door right in front of you.
City 5.
Here you enter the city with little options.... Unlike City One. Go down
the steps and move forward PAST the first set of doors on your right. Make
your way to the stairs then through the next door. You will find yourself
in front of a house - Turn right and follow the path around to the next
door.
Winter Wonderland
Here you will find ghost and NEVER stop coming no matter how many you
defeat. I simply don't bother to try to fight any of them. Travel along
and when you see a marker in the snow off to your right turn and go up the
ramp. You should see a huge stone blocking your path. If you try to hit
it, it won't brake. Here is what you do: Go back to town the way you came,
after the first doors go around and through the next door and talk to a
man in light blue, he should be standing right in front of you as you
enter. He will tell you that the weapons you need are on Mt. Fuji. From
here use the dragon to fly to City 1 and visit the man on top of Mt. Fuji
for a new set of weapons. For more details on how to reach him see the
first section of this guide. While you are passing through stop off at the
house on the hill to activate the dragon marker so you can save some
time. When the man on Mt. Fuji gives you a choice select option 2. You
should notice your parties weapons change to white. (Not as noticeable
while using Yae). With the new weapons head back to the stone and brake it
using anyone you wish. Once the rock is gone make your way up to the
house. Once inside talk to the lady as anyone, pay $300 and watch for a
few mins. When she is finished return to the very beginning of the town.
Go outside and follow the path around to the next set of doors. NOTE:
Inside this cave fall off the side anywhere and follow the river around to
get a cat. Follow the path to the next doors. Now you should see a
waterfall with a sign. Read the sign as Yae and get ready the hit A
button real fast! A simple cheat that works over 80% of the time, as soon
as you start hit A button as fast as you can while holding left. You
should miss everything and make it to the top in no time flat! From here
you are ready to board the submarine under the icy lake. Go back to town
then into the winter stage - Travel past where the marker was to the next
set of doors. You should now see a large lake....So hop in! Once in the
lake be Yae and press UP C Button to change into a mermaid. Now all you
have to do is go under water and find the next door with your on screen
map. Once inside the door swim around and explore. NOTE: Here you will
find a cat and a Submarine.
The Sub.
When you first enter the sub follow the arrows up then to the lift. Inside
room one go up the orange table and climb to get the map for this area.
The map must be used if you wish to find your own way. You will see two
doors in which you can start this adventure. It doesn't matter which you
take since both will lead you to the same place. The next two rooms are
basic, just go with the flow to the door. The next room will have moving
platforms in which you move from one to the other until you can grab the
key. When you get the key head back two rooms to the locked door. After
the locked door run around the corner to the lift. NOTE: Get the little
guybefore you go to the next level. Here you will find no choice but to
use Yae and go under water to the next door. The next few rooms are also
basic swimming, get the key and head for the door in the same level. The
next room is very odd......Don't bother with anything in the room, just
swim to the left and around the corner, then down the ladder and out.
The next level just jump on the conveyer belt in front of you all the way
down to get the key. Get back on it - jump onto the cross over - then down
the belt that leads to the locked door. Next room you will find the key
after you clime the ladder, use it to open the locked door in the corner.
Inside you will find Yae's new weapon and the key to the second locked
door. Next room go under water and through the door. In this room swim up
and change then get on the lift to go to the next floor. NOTE: On the wall
there is a small door which you can go through using tiny Ebisumaru - then
use him to go through the next, follow the path to the 1-Up. In the next
room enter the first door on your right - defeat 3 enemies then go for the
1-Up. After entre the door within this room. The next room has two doors,
both of which take you to the same place......I entered the one directly
to your left. Here all you have to do is jump into the soup bowl and ride
it to the next bowl in front of you. Enter the room before you without
a lock, defeat both enemies for the key, exit then use the key in the door
around the corner. Inside you will find the key for the door you are
currently standing in front of.....They sure make you run! Here you should
see a small room with just a lift, take it to the next level. Run across
to the other end, enter the next door....Watch a cool demo, save then
continue on to fight the next robot.
Robot 2
Fighting this robot is exactly the same as the last one. Not much of a
difference. When you have defeated the robot you will return to the lake.
Next step is to return to City 2 for Saukra's special.
Return to City 2
Once you arrive at City 2 go and talk to the guard again, this time he
will tell you about someone new. After you talk to him go back into the
center of town and make your way to the small pond. The pond is located in
the passage between the two major parts of town. You can reach this place
by going through the door at the end of the shops. Once you find it walk
up to the water and have a talk with the dude. After head to the room
where you had to talk to the fisher and get Ebisumaru's special. There you
will find a old man that will present you with two options. NOTE: If he
doesn't give you an option, exit the room and look for a small child just
off to the right of you - go and talk to him twice - first selecting
option one then option two. Its best to be Saukra during this time since
it is his special we are after. Go back to the old man and he will
then give you the options. Select option one both times to get a golden
key. Your next step is to leave this room and take the next door to your
right. This will lead you to the small bridge and the next set of doors.
Go through them to reach a water/town level (That you have already beaten)
and head for the locked door just to your right. Inside you will see a
man, talk to him and select option one. Next make your way to the top of
this tower to gain his special power. Once you have it exit this room -
then the level. You should be back at the small bridge with the boy. Walk
through the next doors, turn left and take the second door you come too
(First door being the old man). Here you will find a long passage that
leads to a door. Go through the doors then all the way down to the end.
Here you will find a old man to the right high up. Go to the left and Saukra's
special to jump up and onto the high ledge. Then make your way over to the
old man. When asked to select, pick option two - then option one -
then option one again. If you done it right you would have lost $800 but
you would have gotten an object in your items list for the green man in
the small pond. Next step is to revisit the man in the small pond. Now you
have all 4 pieces you need to go against the final boss. NOTE: Right now
you can finish the game! To do this go to the snow stage where the Sub
was, but instead of jumping in the water use the other door to your left.
Inside you will see a center place - go up to it and watch the demo.
You will find yourself in a Boss place in which you must make it to the
top for the final "Show" then space battle. END OF LEVEL 4.
Final Section - Final Boss Palace.
As soon as you start you have to take the left door. In the next room stay
on the higher part and follow it up to the silver key. Use it to open the
door within the same room. Next jump from fan to fan to get the gold key.
Once you have the key head back to the start of this level. Walk through
to the new door - down the ladder and around the corner to the next door -
Walk around the corner to the door. Here use the drums to bounce your way
up to the door. In this room cross the blue platforms and get the map for
this level - Jump down to the lower level and go over to where to door is
- don't go through it but turn right and use Saukra to fly up and get the
gold key. Now go through the door and head for the locked door in front of
you. In the next room you will find a locked door and a small door. Use
Ebisumaru - Turn small and go through the door - Get the gold key and
return to the locked door. Next go down, defeat the enemies and head for
the door. Next make your way to the top of this room to get the silver
key. Once you have it return back to where the locked door was. Climb the
ladder and make your way around to the red button. Hit it to bring down
the stairs. Next avoid the waves and head for the door. Run around and
hit the button to activate the stairs. NOTE: Use Yae to swim under water
for a 1-UP. Otherwise head for the next door. Here you will find yourself
outside. Head around to the next set of gates - Along the way you will
find many shops which you can buy just about any item in the game. After
the gates you will find a blocked door. Walk up to the door and get a
message, now walk back around through the gates to the end shop on your
right. Inside you will find a restaurant - Talk to the white haired guy
beside the lady. He will give you new gold weapons. Go back and brake
through the door. You are now in the bosses own temple. Take out the
enemies and head for the stairs on your left and through the door. Jump
over the platforms to the next door. Here use the conveyer belts to make
your way to the red button - When you hit it a new platform will show -
Make your way back around to it. Same thing goes here with the red button
and platform. Next follow the path to the next door. Here go around and
press the red button - As soon as you do jump onto the center block as its
moving upward. Next get the key and go through the next door. When you are
ready go down the slide and out the door. Next turn left and make your way
to the next door. You will notice you are now back at the beginning. NOTE:
Go to the picture of the final boss and jump into it to find a gold cat!
Enter the locked door and follow the path to the next door. NOTE: You will
find a cat here. Next is a rather cool looking room. This room is a
large cylinder which turns. You will notice gaps missing which you will
fall through if you happen to be next to them when it turns. Make your way
to the next door. This is the last room. Enjoy the show! Once they are
finished you will have the chance to save before you board your robot and
enter space for the final battle. Once again these boss robots are simple.
